Maintain User Roles

Sometimes you want to keep pages of your websites hidden to the public unless they register on your website, using ConvallisCMS User Roles you can do just that. These roles are great for offering extra content to users if they sign up to your website.

1. From the administration screen, select Administration > Users > User Roles.
2. Type in a name for the role.
3. Tick the Default Role box if you would like new users to be added to this role when they register.
4. Click Insert.

*Users can be added to multiple roles and the roles are used for accessing protected areas of the websites.
