Maintain Product Categories

There is nothing worse than a messy, unorganised shop. That's why categories are useful. Using categories you are able to sort your products in a structured way which makes it easy for your users to navigate through your shop.

  1. From the administration screen, select Sales > Maintain Product Categories from the menu.
  2. Name the category
  3. Type in a tooltip (Text displayed when you hover over the link).
  4. Tick the Active box to have that category display*.
  5. Click Insert.
  6. Apply the category to your products.

*If you do not tick this box, you can still apply products to it but the category won't be displayed.
