Movie Muser

Over the past few months we've been bevearing away on the development of a brand new web site, Movie Muser. We'd never created a site with an entertainment focus before and it was certainly an exciting prospect when we originally won the contract. The site itself is content driven providing the latest news, reviews, features, interviews and competitions covering all things film. Movie Muser was launched at the end of May and has been providing film fans with film related stories ever since.

But that wasn't the only part of the Movie Muser vision, and there has been much to do since that initial launch. With the first release deployed we didn't rest on our laurels and have been creating the 'community' features of the site which have now had the finishing touches given to them. So now users can comment on the stories posted by the editors and can even write their own stories, since registered users can create their own blogs. Not forgetting the forums which provide users with a further way to share their opinions and stories related to the film world.

It's been an exciting project which required us to develop our own content management system (CMS) which links to the web version of our ConvallisCRM. This provides our client with a simple editing capability for the site itself, and with CRM a capable contact management system which can be used to view and maintain user data.
